I am in an on-going journey to learn to be a master of my mind, my thoughts, my actions and my deeds. Yes, it is a great goal but don’t get me wrong, it is also selfish. Please allow me to me explain what I mean.

I have learned of the power of words both unspoken and spoken out loud. Words are powerful sound bytes that when thought in our minds create images and recall emotions and feelings, and when spoken out loud literally send the vibration of its meaning out onto the Universe.

Did you know that we think 60,000 to 80,000 thoughts in a day!!! I am serious!!! And it is up to you on what thoughts you choose to stop and pay attention.

Words thus create a big piece of our reality. You might not notice this in your life until you start to be watchful.

For example, let’s imagine you are having an argument with your partner and you think “I know now he is going to be mad at me” and therefore you start walking on eggshells or saying things in a different way and guess what happens? You guessed right, he got mad.

Another scenario may be that you are putting forth a growth project in your business from which you expect to gain more profit, but as you go about it you keep thinking “it’s not going to work”. Need I say more?

You see, your subconscious does not judge whether your thought is accurate or even helpful; it accepts what you tell it as “fact” and does what it can to make what you told it take place.

Words then become the precursor of “self-fulfilling” prophecies both for good and for bad.

I invite you to start becoming a sever observant of your thoughts and of the words you speak up. Watch for catchphrases where inavertedly you may have spoken a statement that has not happened, that has a time frame in the future, yet you say it as if it were truth.

We are used to looking at what is happening in the present moment and thinking and making statements about what is possible in the future based on the now. This type of thinking creates many limitations and stops you from growing and living the life you dream of.

What’s it going to be? Are you going to overlook this or take it to heart? This is powerful stuff, take me up on it!

Love and light.

Shine bright
